Frequently Asked Question

For us to be able to help you better with issues regarding FactSage, we need a debug file. To generate a FactSage level 1 debug file, please do the following:

1. Open FactSage and then from the main window, click on the menu entry Tools > Debug Program > Run debug program (level 1)
2. After a few seconds (can take up to a minute) a text file "Debug.txt" in the FactSage installation directory (for example "C:\FactSage")
3. Quit FactSage and do not open it until after the next step as the debug file is again reset if FactSage is run without copying it
4. Copy the file "Debug.txt" to a different location such as desktop and send us this file
