ChemApp "light", as well as "light" versions of other software that is built in ChemApp, can read DAT files with the following key limitations:

• Maximum number of system components: 3
• Maximum number of constituents (i.e. the sum of all phase constituents and compounds): 50
• Maximum number of mixture phases: 5

ChemApp "light" comes with a number of example data-files in DAT (plain-text ASCII format) that all meet these conditions.

Please note that ChemApp "light" is not able to read CST files, which are binary data-files created for instance with FactSage, even if the above size conditions are met.
