Normally the registration key is not required if you've copied the Config.dat file into the FactSage setup folder. This is after you've unzipped it after downloading it from our FactSage download server and as described in the download instructions we sent out to you.

The Config.dat file is a file that identifies each customer uniquely and is unique for your user-id. It is issued once in the original FactSage CD we sent out to you, is independent from the FactSage versions released so far and can be found in the FactSage installation path on the PC where FactSage (any version) is installed.

To proceed with the FactSage installation, you must identify and copy the Config.dat file from either the original FactSage CD you received from us or from any other PC where FactSage is installed and pasted into the folder where the FactSage setup files have been unzipped (typically C:\Temp\FactSageXX or similar).
