The following resources are available for improving your knowledge and skills on FactSage:

- The FactSage Educational package (FactSage Edu) is a free version of the FactSage software for interested users to download. It can also be used to teach computational thermochemistry in universities. The version is complete, in the sense that all standard databases and the main calculational modules of the full program can be utilized. The main limitation of this free version is that calculations are restricted to a maximum of three different chemical elements. Other restrictions are that some Apps, like the Calphad Optimizer and the Viscosity module are not included in the FactSage Edu package.

- Selecting "Info" -> "Information" -> "Slide shows..." from the FactSage main menu provides access to the documentation for all FactSage modules.

- FactSage-TEACH is a combination of a handbook and a series of special mini-databases for use with the assignments. It is the result of a long series of seminars, training courses and workshops on Computational Thermochemistry which began in the early nineties. FactSage-TEACH is suitable for self-tuition, but can also be used as a basis for a course given by an instructor. FactSage-TEACH is part of all FactSage versions, the documentation can be accessed from the FactSage main menu by selecting "Info" -> "Information" -> "FactSage-Teach".

- Selecting "Info" -> "Information" from the FactSage main menu also provides access to a wealth of additional information, such as on "FactSage applications" and "Macro processing".

- Selecting "Databases" -> "Documentation" from the FactSage main menu opens the FactSage Database Browser, which provides in-depth information on all thermochemical databases available for FactSage.
