How to manually check for FactSage license updates?

This feature only works for FactSage versions above 8.0
You can manually check for license updates from within FactSage.
To do so, run FactSage if it's not currently running and click away any warnings or error messages if the license has expired.
Then from the FactSage main window, click on the menu, 'Tools > FactSage Updates > 1. Update Profiles8x.ini' in order download the latest profile data for your FactSage installation.
FactSage will then download the corresponding license file if available for your user-id and FactSage installation and update any licenses or databases.
